[Plastic Recycling Equipment]Boretech’s Sieving Machines

2024-11-15

To better serve our customers and partners, Boretech is launching a new column, " Plastic Recycling Equipment",dedicated to showcasing equipment and applications in the waste plastics industry.

The plastic recycling industry focuses on reclaiming, processing, and converting discarded plastic products into reusable materials or renewable energy, aiming to reduce plastic pollution and prevent resource waste. At the heart of plastic recycling lies the equipment and processes that make these transformations possible.

With over 30 years of experience in the waste plastics recycling industry and nearly 300 successful plastic recycling and washing projects worldwide, what sets us apart as a leader in the field? Stay tuned as we unveil the advantages that keep us at the forefront.

In this issue, let's explore Boretech’s waste plastic sieving machines.

Whole Bottle Impurity Removal Equipment: Your Powerful Partner for Efficient Contaminant Removal

In post-consumer PET recycling, various contaminants often mix with the material, including dirt, non-plastic foreign objects, and metals, along with labels, caps, and rings attached to the bottles themselves. If these impurities are not effectively separated, they can lower the purity of the recycled material, cause additional wear and tear on cleaning equipment, and lead to operational failures. Selecting the right sieving machine to remove these contaminants is crucial to the entire PET bottle recycling and washing process.

Why Choose Boretech’s Sieving Machines?

We offer two types of sieving machines tailored to the washing process: dry trommels and disk screeners. Both ensure effective separation, supporting subsequent cleaning efficiency and improving the quality of the final PET flakes.

Dry Trommel:

We typically recommend placing the dry trommel at the front end of the entire washing process. By using the trommel to screen materials, small debris such as sand and impurities can be effectively separated. The multi-stage trommel, derived from the basic model, takes this a step further by separating sand, impurities, bottle caps, and oversized bottles within the pile, categorizing and collecting them. Depending on the washing line scale, the dry trommel is available in various models, with a maximum processing capacity of 15 tons per hour and a screening efficiency of ≥85%.

Effective screening at the front end ensures that the required materials are retained, enhancing the cleanliness of the materials for subsequent processes while reducing production stress and wear on downstream equipment. Baolvtte’s dry trommel not only features an aesthetically pleasing design but also includes side observation and cleaning windows for convenient maintenance and cleaning.

Disk Screener:

The disk screener is generally installed between the whole bottle washing process and the automatic bottle sorting stage to maximize its functionality. This equipment uses rotating disks to effectively separate labels and bottle caps mixed with the materials while filtering out water carried by the washed materials. Additionally, the materials become more evenly dispersed after passing through the screening surface, creating favorable production conditions for the next process.

The disk screener is also available in various models depending on the washing line scale, with a maximum processing capacity of 7.5 tons per hour and a separation efficiency of over 95%.

By choosing Boretech’s whole bottle impurity removal equipment and unique process technology, you can achieve more efficient impurity separation, reduce equipment wear and energy consumption, significantly improve production efficiency, and enhance the quality of the final PET flakes.
